Obituaries appearing on HeavenCalled.com are generally submitted by funeral
homes. We will accept notices from a family member as
long as the name and location of the funeral home handling the
arrangements is provided. Our policy is to verify each
notice that is published on our site. For individual pricing information,
email
sales@heavencalled.com.
We understand the genealogical importance of obituaries and for that reason, we
do not place restrictions on what may be included in a person's notice. Maybe
your loved one had hobbies or interests that you would like
mentioned; special accomplishments that you don't want overlooked or
forgotten; and grandchildren, in-laws or other relatives besides the
immediate family that you feel should be named. It's your choice.
Pictures: Including a photograph adds a lasting memory for all
to cherish. Understandably, you may not have a picture readily available at
the time you are making funeral arrangements. We'll insert a graphic as a
placeholder and invite you to submit a picture of your choice at a time you
find convenient. Keep in mind that the space for the picture is limited,
and we feel most people would prefer to see the face of your loved one.
Submit the picture of your choice and we will crop, resize, color-correct
and attempt to remove any minor creases or spots so it will look its best.
We can only do so much though, so the nicer the quality you submit, the better.
All of this is included at no extra charge and we strongly encourage you to
take advantage of it. Send the picture as an attachment and email to
obits@heavencalled.com.
Errors and Corrections: We want your family member's notice to
be as accurate as possible. If you find an error, please let us know within
seven (7) days, and we will gladly correct it. Send an email with the correction
to
obits@heavencalled.com. Please include your name, validation code and phone
number in case we have any questions.

On each individual's obituary page, there is a link for Memories and Condolences.
Visitors are invited to leave a note for you to read in remembrance of your loved one.
If your funeral home does not have an online guest book, ask them to include "Online
memories and condolences may be left at www.heavencalled.com" when submitting the
obituary to your local newspaper.

Many people like to publicly thank the medical community, church family,
funeral homes, friends, etc., for the acts of kindness extended to them during their
loved one's illness and/or passing. HeavenCalled.com invites family members of those
who have obituaries here to express their gratitude on our website free of charge.
The funeral home will provide you with a unique validation code you will need in order
to write your Card of Thanks.

A month from now, a year from now, on a birthday or anniversary, you may
want to remember your loved one with a special tribute. Each memoriam
will remain for one year and a new one may be added at any time simply by
entering the validation code provided to you by the funeral home.
